Howells are a well respected bespoke aluminium roof glazing manufacturer, predominately making patent glazing, rooflights and glazed canopies, since 1973. They have quality assurance ISO9001:2015 and in addition, independent weathertightness, PAS24 and secured by design accreditation. Contracts are undertaken on a supply only or supply and install basis with installation of rooflights, roof glazing and canopies using single, double or triple glazing or polycarbonate sheet.
Their products are constantly evolving and offer excellent thermal efficiency that are suitable for a variety of uses. Their wide portfolio of works, undertaken all over the UK, include supplying public sector contracts such as schools, colleges, nursing homes, commercial sector for contracts such as hotels, shopping centres, leisure, religious organisations, as well as private homes, with pre formed rooflights, and aluminium barrel vaults, canopies, single and double pitched roofs and covered walkways.
They work directly with Architects, Main Contractors or clients to realise designs into reality, from swimming pool covers to bespoke entrance canopies. The nature of design involves, at times working closely with English Heritage or other stakeholders to find solutions to design conundrums utilising the support of their dedicated, long serving staff, ensuring that the customer gets the best advice on the type of bar required to fit the purpose of the contract.
